Information We Collect
When you submit a quote request, we collect the information you provide: name, email, phone (optional), company (optional), location, service needed, project description, and timeline. When you submit an advertiser application, we collect company and contact information, website, requested service and geographic coverage, and supporting notes or evidence you provide. We may use basic web analytics to understand aggregate site traffic. Analytics services, if enabled, may receive technical information such as visited pages, approximate location and device type.
How We Use and Share Your Information
We use your details to review your request and contact you about next steps. If you leave the optional provider-introduction box unchecked, your request remains internal to Arc Flash Finder. If you affirmatively check it, you authorize us to share that request and your contact details with up to one relevant provider selected for the project. That provider may contact you about the request and may pay Arc Flash Finder for the introduction. This permission does not cover unrelated marketing.
The form records whether permission was granted, the consent version, the time submitted and the stated sharing scope. Consent does not apply retroactively to older submissions. Even with permission, we will not distribute requests until the provider-sharing program and participating-provider agreement have been reviewed and approved.
Advertiser application information is used for manual review, verification, applicant communication and administration of any separately accepted sponsorship. Applying does not activate advertising, create a paid agreement or authorize billing. We do not distribute advertiser application information as a customer lead.
Tracking and Attribution
When a sponsored placement is active, we may record when at least half of it becomes visible, clicks to the sponsor’s Arc Flash Finder profile, and a quote request submitted in the same browser tab within 30 minutes after that profile click. These event records use random event identifiers and placement/provider identifiers; they do not create a promise of traffic, inquiries or commercial results. If tracking is unavailable, we report the metric as unavailable rather than as zero.
Quote and Directory Measurement
We record a first interaction with the quote form and clicks from a provider profile to that provider's website. These records contain a random event reference, the page path, the provider identifier when applicable, and the server time. They do not include form answers, full referring URLs, IP addresses or cross-site identifiers. A temporary reference in your browser tab helps avoid counting retries twice. We count received requests from stored submissions, not visits to the thank-you page. Known automated and synthetic test observations are excluded from business reports. Event records are retained for up to 400 days; synthetic test records expire after seven days.
Retention, Security and Your Choices
Quote, consent and advertiser application records are stored with an automatic expiration of up to 730 days after submission unless deleted earlier. Access is restricted to authorized operators and systems needed to review requests, applications and approved sharing; providers receive only requests that are within the permission recorded for that submission. Operational access should be reviewed periodically, and exported records must be kept in access-controlled storage.
You can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your submitted information using the contact page. We will verify the request before acting, subject to applicable legal retention requirements. You can also withdraw permission before a request is shared or tell us not to contact you about a submitted request. Withdrawal cannot undo a disclosure already made with valid permission, but it stops any later disclosure by Arc Flash Finder.
